addition to monthly Hostess Race Divas photos, the calendar lists monthly racing
milestones and provides an insider’s take on Race Divas’ stats and background
with insight from the drivers on their success. Each month also includes a

BOB GLIDDEN AND DICK MASKIN PART WAYS

Torco's CompetitionPlus.com has
confirmed that team owner Dick Maskin and Bob Glidden parted ways as of 3 PM
today. Both parties involved agree the reasoning for the split was just a
difference of opinion and chose to leave it at that.

"I cherish the experience that I had to work with Bob and I
learned a lot from him," Maskin said. "He is a talented individual."

Maskin said Glidden tendered his resignation.

A GRUMP OF A FRIDGE

JASON SCRUGGS ESTABLISHES NEW RECORD

A sellout crowd at Rockingham
Dragway witnessed on of the finest Pro Modified events ever at the ADRL
Dragstock III event. Joey Martin (Pre Extreme), Shannon Jenkins (Pro Nitrous)
and Steve Kirk (10.5) were crowned champions.

A little after Noon, the track had reached a capacity crowd and could no longer
sell tickets.

Joey Scruggs nailed an all-time performance record when he reeled
off a 3.813 at 198.44 miles per hour.

RAIN SHOWERS WASH OUT READING

The 22nd annual Toyo Tires NHRA Nationals at
Maple Grove Raceway were rained out and are rescheduled for Sept. 29, 30 and
Oct. 1. Pro sessions will be held at 1 and 4 p.m. on Sept. 29, 11 a.m. and 2
p.m. on Sept. 30, and final eliminations begin at 11 a.m. on Oct. 1.


"The
rain is scheduled to last until 3 p.m. today and the parking lots would not dry
out in time for Sunday racing," said Graham Light, sr. vice president, racing
operations.

FOX NEWS REVIEWS JUNIOR DRAG RACING

Fox & Friends showed Junior Dragster
footage from Numidia Dragway in Pennsylvania during Friday morning's show and
appeared astonished when it was mentioned the youth drivers reach speeds as fast
as 75 miles per hour. Co-host Lauren Green asked her fellow team members after
questioning the safety of the children, "Do you think these kids have any
driver's education?"

Steve Doocy responded, "They're only eight years old, what do you think?"

GET WELL, DONNA

Donna Price, wife of Bart Price, was rushed to
Stanford Medical Center Hospital tonight for emergency surgery. Donna and Bart
own the PiranaZ Pro Stock Pontiac GTO driven by Greg Stanfield in NHRA
competition.

Donna, who had major heart surgery two years ago, is doing well. “We are all
hoping for the best," said Bart. More news will be passed on as it becomes
available.

The Prices will not be in Pennsylvania for the NHRA event this weekend, but
it will be business as usual for Stanfield and his crew.

TEAM BRAY HEADS TO 41ST AUSTRALIAN NATIONALS

Team Bray heads to this weekend's Australian
Nationals at its home track of Willowbank in Queensland, after a good start in
round one of the 2006/07 championship in Sydney two weeks ago.

Victor, runner-up in Top Doorslammer in Sydney, and Ben Bray have won four of
the last five Nationals in Doorslammer and are planning to keep the quarter mile
ball rolling, despite a massive offensive from their Doorslammer and Top Alcohol
opponents. Victor reckons the competition will be stronger than ever at
Willowbank with 16 Doorslammer and 14 Alcohol cars entered.
