The word floating around the pits is that NHRA will have different amounts of qualifying sessions throughout the season. We are told eight events will have three qualifying sessions while 12 will have four. The U.S. Nationals will have five sessions starting with a single session on Friday. The three session events will feature one run on Friday and two on Saturday.
