Monday returning to Indy might just be the tip of the iceberg of normalcy returning to the Camping World NHRA Drag Racing Series in 2022. We are told, the bump in purse for the NHRA U.S. Nationals is a precursor to things returning to normal next year with four qualifying sessions and 2019 purse levels if not more. If this pans out, it could be a huge positive to a sport that has come out of the pandemic in better shape than it went it. Let's all, for the racers and sanctioning body's sake, hope this one plays out.
