Word has it that the NHRA will take a page from the ADRL's playbook and field a similar version of the Super Car Showdown on the Friday of their U.S. National event in Indianapolis. Reportedly the event will be comprised of the quicker classed, late-model Cobra Jet, Drag Pak Challengers and hopefully COPO Camaros racing on a heads-up and no breakout basis.  Eliminations will begin early on Friday and once the show is eliminated down to eight, will run in between professional categories. Our sources tells us this is a one-race deal for now
