TURK CRACKS THE 7s IN NMCA'S HOLLEY EFI FACTORY SUPER CARS

Geoff Turk headlined first-day qualifying for the National Muscle Car Association [NMCA] Mayhem event at Bradenton Motorsports Park in Bradenton, Fla.

In Friday's Holley EFI Factory Super Cars Q-1 session, Turk drove his Blackbird Drag Pak Challenger to the first seven-second pass in the history of the eliminator. In doing so, he's eligible to receive the $5K from Holley for running the 7-second pass, as well as the $5k for running a Holley EFI system on the car.

In other action, Randy Adler drove his '57 Chevy to the Extreme Pro Modified provisional No. 1, cranking out an eighth-mile lap of 3.738 seconds at 206.56.

Ken Cruz anchors the bump spot at a 4.279, with 24 cars vying for a spot in the 16-car field.
