Pro Nitrous team owner Pat Musi confirmed today he has suspended his race team operations, effective immediately.

Musi will continue to focus on his race engine business, Musi Enterprises, which has many customers in NHRA, PDRA, NMCA and other race series. 

"This is a tough decision to make," Musi said. "But right now, the best thing for all of us is to focus on our business and make sure our customers are taken care of the best. There are some issues we need to fix within our team, and they are of a personal matter, so I will not be discussing them in this or any forum. 

"I have dedicated my life to drag racing and a large part to my team. But right now, it is best for us to take a break. I apologize to our sponsors and fans and ask for your continued support as we work our way through these obstacles."

Musi will maintain his presence at the races servicing his customers in the meantime.
