According to an article published online at autoweek.com, May 18, NHRA is selling its corporate offices in Glendora, Calif., a suburb of Los Angeles.

The building and property have an assessed value of just more than $4.6 million. The property is listed for sale through Colliers International real estate corporation.

The building, which has 28,335 square feet of office and warehouse space on the 1.65-acre campus in the foothills of the San Gabriel Mountains, was constructed in 1985. It has been for sale for less than a week.

The article said NHRA plans to relocate part of its operation to Indianapolis, while keeping a presence in Southern California on a smaller scale.

In the listing for the property, some of the amenities were as follows:

*Beautifully landscaped grounds with outdoor patio seating
*Large surface parking lot
*400 amps of power 480/277
*Approximately 5,000 square feet of warehouse with 12’-24’ clear height
*2 ground level roll up doors

NHRA has an office in Brownsburg, Ind., on the property of multi-purpose Lucas Oil Raceway in Indianapolis. It is located just west of Indianapolis, five miles from the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

The article states the State of Indiana and Hendricks County, where Brownsburg is located, reportedly have offered generous tax abatements to racing-related corporations in an effort to preserve the area’s reputation as the Motorsports Capital of the World.
