Kaeser Compressors, a leading provider of compressed air systems, has secured the title sponsorship for the upcoming Red Line Oil PDRA Drag Racing Series event, the Mid-Atlantic Showdown, set to take place at Virginia Motorsports Park from April 18 to 20. Additionally, the company has been designated as the Official Air Compressor of the PDRA.

According to PDRA’s marketing director, Will Smith, Kaeser Compressors’ decision to step in as a title sponsor reflects their longstanding connection to drag racing. 

“The Kaeser Compressors team are no strangers to drag racing, but we’re thrilled to welcome them to the PDRA as an event title sponsor and the Official Air Compressor of the series,” said Will Smith, marketing director, PDRA. “Kaeser Compressors has been on the side of Jeff Brooks’ Henry J Top Sportsman car for many years. Kaeser Compressors, headquartered in Fredericksburg, Va., operates through a nationwide network of branches and distributors, offering a wide array of compressed air system products and services. Their involvement with drag racing extends back three decades, particularly through their partnership with Top Sportsman team JEB Four Racing, which has intensified this year with increased participation in the PDRA.

Michael Camber, Kaeser Compressors Marketing Services Manager, cited JEB Four Racing’s influence in sparking the company’s interest in supporting the PDRA, emphasizing the significance of the series’ local ties.

“Jeff Brooks at JEB Four schooled us on PDRA and got us excited about it,” Camber said. “We decided to support this growing series, which is based in our Virginia community. Also, we have a number of pro race shops as customers and this is a chance to show our appreciation to this market.”

The upcoming Mid-Atlantic Showdown, sponsored by Kaeser Compressors and presented by Classic Graphix, marks the second event in the eight-race lineup for the 2024 Red Line Oil PDRA Drag Racing Series. Virginia Motorsports Park will serve as the venue for this highly anticipated competition, featuring a diverse roster of racing categories such as Pro Nitrous, Pro Boost, and Extreme Pro Stock.

With Kaeser Compressors as the sponsor for JEB Four Racing, their presence at the Mid-Atlantic Showdown and subsequent PDRA events this season will be unmistakable. Camber emphasized their readiness to engage with fans and teams, providing information about their compressors and demonstrating appreciation for the racing community.
