BRITTANIE AND JOSH HART DRIVE TO FILL FOOD PANTRY

Huntington, Indiana native Brittanie Hart, wife of NHRA Top Fuel racer Josh Hart, is leading the “Race to Fill the Food Pantry” campaign in March. Donations to the United with Love food pantry will be matched dollar for dollar up to $10,000, with contributions from races, fans, and the Huntington community.

Executive Director of United with Love, Erin Didion, expressed gratitude towards the Hart family for their support.

“We are so grateful to the Hart family, Brittanie, Josh, and their children for supporting our pantry in nourishing our neighbors. In 2023, we had over 8,950 individual visits to our food pantry, and we cannot do this alone. This matching donation is critical at this time of the year when donations are down, but the need is unchanged,” said Erin Didion, Executive Director of United with Love of Huntington County.

Donations to the food pantry, whether made in person, by mail, or online, will benefit those in need in the community. United With Love aims to provide Christ-centered services to meet individual needs and create stability for all their neighbors in Huntington and beyond.

Brittanie Hart emphasized the importance of ongoing support for organizations like United with Love. Drawing from personal experience, Hart stressed these organizations' impact in improving the lives of individuals in need daily.

“There was a time when we needed help, and we know that places like United with Love and people like Erin and their volunteers are making a difference in people’s lives every day,” Hart said. “The Race to Fill the Food Pantry is something we can do this month, but they need assistance and support every month, and we want to encourage everyone to get involved if they are able.”
