Past NHRA Pro Stock Motorcycle champion Angelle Sampey will become the third rider for the Vance & Hines Screamin' Eagle Harley-Davidson team for at least the first four races of 2019. This, per a report on NHRA.com.

“It’s surreal to be getting ready to race one of these Harleys after lining up against them for so many years,” Sampey told NHRA.com. “I’m so motivated to get out there and see what I can do on the same bike as Eddie and Drew.”

Sampey, a 42-time NHRA national event winner, will compete at the Mello Yello Drag Racing Series events in Gainesville, first events in Las Vegas and Charlotte, and Atlanta.

Sampey won three NHRA consecutive championships starting in 2000.
