Tina Stull, Kate and Diana Harker, and Peggy Llewellyn aka Team Troops, joined forces at the track to host the troops and their families.  The women utilize their pit space to allow troops to experience racing from the racers vantage point.

"For many of the troops returning from deployment, this is the first high adrenaline experience that they can share with their families.  It is not only a healing experience for many  but also one that is bonding for the family as a whole" says Stull.

The US Navy supplied  tents became home base for the troops, giving them a place to hang out and relax, interact with drivers and crew, learn about the different racecars, and  review different materials and programs providing support to Military members. .

This weekend's event ended suddenly for Tina Stull, losing 2nd round with a blown up engine.  Peggy joined division four favorite, Lynn Nickerson up in the PA booth for commentary to track audiences. In the meantime, the Aussie twins wrenched hard on their fathers Top Alcohol Funny to win the prestigious 'Wally' trophy.

The women of Team Troops are looking forward to continuing on the NHRA schedule to show their thanks to many more troops and their families. Team Troops welcomes donations and support from individuals and company's who would like to become involved with this exciting program.
