Quick Eight Pro Mods will run this weekend, March 20 - 21, at Farmington Dragway in Farmington, N.C., as part of the IHRA Div. 9 event. This season marks the 20th anniversary of Quick Eight doorslammer racing at the facility known simply as the FARM.

In addition to the excitement of the Pro Mods, a full slate of racing is planned for Top Sportsman, Top Dragster, Super Stock, Stock, Quick Rod, Super Rod and Hot Rod.

Quick Eight Pro Mods will run this weekend, March 20 - 21, at Farmington Dragway in Farmington, N.C., as part of the IHRA Div. 9 event. This season marks the 20th anniversary of Quick Eight doorslammer racing at the facility known simply as the FARM.

In addition to the excitement of the Pro Mods, a full slate of racing is planned for Top Sportsman, Top Dragster, Super Stock, Stock, Quick Rod, Super Rod and Hot Rod.

Among those competing this weekend in the Quick Eight are defending Quick Eight Racer's Association champion Buzz Varner of Graham, NC, Steve Vick, Randy Weatherford, Dale Brinsfield, Kenny Rucker, Thomas Dunsford and three-time Q8RA champion Ken Regenthal.

Everything gets underway on Friday with Test-N-Tune for IHRA and regular Friday night racers. There will be a round of Quick 8- Pro Mod Qualifying later that night around 6 PM.

Saturday will be the race day for the Quick 8-Pro Modified, with two rounds of qualifying at 12 noon and 3:30 PM and final eliminations beginning at 5 PM. Mixed in between will be time runs, qualifying and record runs for all the seven IHRA classes, with Combo races starting at 4 PM for them.

Sunday's final eliminations will feature Top Sportsman, Top Dragster, Super  Stock, Stock, Quick Rod, Super Rod and Hot Rod classes.
