For the past few months NFCA Officers and their marketing team have been feverishly preparing to unveil the new and improved Nitro Funny Car Association! Vice President Chris Bennett, “A crucial element that has been missing from the NFCA is a genuine connection to motorsports enthusiasts and fans of the sport. The Nitro Nation is also a center of support for NFCA members as it is home to the Mickey Thompson support rig, operated by expert technical staff lead by Mike Judson. Mickey Thompson Motorsports Manager Carl Robinson said, “We are excited to join the Nitro Funny Car Association and provide members with quality product as well as track side support. Being a part of the Nitro Nation will also give consumers an opportunity to ask questions about Mickey Thompson products for their street cars and hot rods.”

The Nitro Nation mobile fan experience will be at all of the Mickey Thompson Nitro Funny Car Championship Series events featuring the Nitro Funny Car Association. The championship series launches at the March Meet and will include the following events**:

March 6-8                       March Meet, Bakersfield

*April 24-25                   Funny Car Fever, Sacramento

*July 31-August 2          Nitro Summerfest, Spokane

August 13-16                 Nightfire/Heritage, Boise, ID

*October 24                   NFCA World Finals, Phoenix
