Wyoming Technical Institute (WyoTech) contacted G2 Motorsports (George Smith and George Bryce) with the concept of its students assembling a motorcycle around the 126-cubic inch, 150 horsepower S&S Cycle V-Twin engine that is exclusively distributed by G2.  Smith and Bryce agreed, and Bryce and Derek Churchwell of G2 served as instructors for the students and alumni of the Sacramento, Calif., and Daytona, Fla., WyoTech motorcycle programs.

“We went Spike TV’s studio and built the bike on the set,” said Churchwell.  “They have already aired the programs that followed our putting it together.”

The S&S Cycle 50th Anniversary custom motorcycle boasts a unique paint scheme to complement its street-legal performance characteristics.

G2 Motorsports is based in a small town in southern Georgia.  It  normally spends its time selling parts, building motorcycles and campaigning its highly successful NHRA Pro Stock Motorcycle. Their G2 Motorsports/Drag Specialties/S&S Cycle V-Twin ridden by Chris Rivas finished second in 2008.
