SUMMIT ACQUIRES NORWALK NAMING RIGHTS

Torco's Competitionplus.com has learned that tomorrow, Wednesday, November 1, Norwalk Raceway Park and Summit Racing Equipment will jointly announce that the Official Mail Order Company of the NHRA has signed a 10-year agreement for the naming rights to the venerable Ohio quarter mile facility.  The cumbersome official title will be “Summit Racing Equipment Motorsports Park,” a moniker not likely to be utilized by the media due to its length, but who are we to criticize?  We’ve also heard that the deal includes a significant six figure annual fee.
