Rain delayed Sunday’s competition forcing track operators to postpone race action until Monday. When racing resumed, Harker took on rookie Terry Ruckman in the semi-finals who went into instant tire shake and watched on as Harker drove by to take the win with another outstanding performance of 5.585et at 253mp pass.

Saving the best till last, Harker faced off against number two rival Jay Payne who ended it all on the start line with a red light handing Harker the win. Harker then drove on through with his best pass of the weekend 5.582et at 257mph run.

“We came to Vegas as a last minute decision with some support from our close friends and sponsors, after having already made a successful campaign this season we felt we owed it to them and our team to have a little more fun before the year is over. It’s a great feeling to win when you have no pressure transcending to a championship chase and I really hope we can keep the momentum going and back up our win in Pomona, CA next weekend for the Auto Club Finals.” Said Harker
