John DeFlorian of Arnold, MO, has officially joined the Bankston Boys as a third ADRL Pro Nitrous teammate to drivers Stan Allen and Tim Savell, planning his debut with the team for next weekend in the 4th annual LenMar Motorsports ADRL World Finals at the Texas Motorplex in Ennis, TX, and continuing throughout the 2009 ADRL campaign. "I believe this will be a very potent team," said DeFlorian, who built his immaculate '06 Corvette in his spare time from working as shop foreman at Jerry Haas Race Cars. "With all the expertise we have available now it will be a very good situation. I love racing with the ADRL and this, I think, gives me my best chance ever to go out and be truly competitive and maybe even win a race. I can't thank Mike Bankston enough for the opportunity. Just to be able to get out and race with these guys is a tremendous accomplishment, but I'm chomping at the bit to get out there and see what we can do."
