CROSSLAND CONSTRUCTION TO SUPPORT ROD FULLER AT O’REILLY FALL NATIONALS

Crossland Construction Company, one of the nation’s largest general contracting companies, will support Top Fuel driver Rod Fuller during the 23rd annual O’Reilly Fall Nationals, Sept. 18-21, at Texas Motorplex near Dallas. Crossland Construction, with locations in Kansas, Arkansas, Oklahoma and Texas, also partnered with Fuller for the Topeka, Kan. race in June.

"We wanted to support someone who represents the audience and demographics that our industry serves, and there was no better fit for that than our hometown hero and Top Fuel driver Rod Fuller,” Crossland Construction Director of Development Pat Carroll said. “His association with Caterpillar combined with the NHRA fan base puts us right in with our customer base. We see the Dallas market as a growth opportunity for our business and the fact that the majority of our large earth moving equipment is purchased from Caterpillar dealers makes a perfect fit for the association." Fuller currently ranks sixth in the NHRA Countdown to 1 standings following 19 of 24 races on the 2008 NHRA racing schedule. The Las Vegas racer earned his seventh career Top Fuel win by powering the Caterpillar dragster to the title of the St. Louis race in early May. Fuller also has seven career Top Fuel poles, including the Norwalk, Ohio race in June. Fuller is a three-time runner-up at Texas Motorplex.

“I’m excited to have Crossland back on the car this weekend at the Dallas race,” Fuller said. “It’s always great to represent a company from my hometown area of Northwest Arkansas. We want to put on a good show this weekend in the CAT dragster because we know we’ll have a lot of support from the folks at HOLT and Crossland.”
