The search for the vintage lightweight 1963 Ford Galaxie 427 formerly
driven by drag racing legend Phil Bonner to his 1963 national title is
over.

The trailer and car were stolen from the parking lot of the Beaches Restaurant & Bar and was later recovered by the Clark County Sheriff’s Office.
The car’s owners had offered a $100,000 reward for information leading to the recovery of the car. A spokesman for the owners said the classic Ford was valued at $1 million.
