CHRIS ALSTON’S CHASSISWORKS ACQUIRES KP COMPONENTS

KP Components, a leading manufacturer of sport-truck suspensions, has been acquired by Chris Alston’s Chassisworks.  Founded in 2000, KP Components specializes in air-suspension systems for domestic pickups manufactured from 1960 to 2008.

“KP is a natural fit for us,” explained Chris Alston, who also owns Total Control Products and VariShock.  “Chassisworks has always built parts for racing and Pro Street pickups.

“This acquisition helps us smoothly and quickly expand into the street market.  KP’s upper managers remain in place, but our manufacturing resources enable them to develop and introduce new products much faster than was possible previously.”
