The up and coming Top Alcohol Funny Car star attended this weekend’s world premiere of Adam Sandler's "You Don't Mess With Zohan" major motion picture.

De Joria, 30, the daughter of Patrón Spirits Company and Paul Mitchell Hair Care Products founder John Paul De Joria, had a special interest in the film that goes beyond being a movie buff.

My dad played a part,” said De Joria. “He brought me to the premiere as his date, so that was pretty cool to get to go to that. That kind of stuff can be fun, but I’m ready to get back on the track.”

When De Joria does get to the track, her team is in the capable hand of veteran crew chief Bob DeVour. She hopes to continue DeVour's history of success at this track this weekend.

Bob has done pretty well at Fallon,” said De Joria. “He’s done so much to help my driving this year, so I can’t help but be excited about racing there. We struggled a little bit in Topeka, but we made a respectable lap in the first round. Hopefully we can make some more good laps in Fallon this weekend.”
