The 17th annual Doug Herbert Performance Center Open House will take place this Saturday, May 10, 2007.
Doug Herbert, owner of Doug Herbert Performance Parts and driver of the SnapFranchise.com Top Fuel dragster, will be on hand throughout the day, manning the parts counter, signing autographs and firing the SnapFranchise.com dragster.
The entire SnaponFranchise.com Top Fuel team will be present to display for customers the haulers and equipment used to transport the entire race operation across the country and from track to track.

“I’m excited about the Open House,” said Herbert. “It always gives me an opportunity to thank the customers and fans for supporting me, Doug Herbert Performance Parts and Snap-on Tools.
“Being able to fire up the SnaponFranchise.com dragster for people that can’t make it to a race is really cool, too. It’s always fun to see the looks on their faces when they hear how loud it really is.
“People always bring some really cool hot rods, and it’s always a good time. I look forward to it every year.”
The Open House kicks off at 9:00 a.m. sharp, with the SnaponFranchise.com dragster roaring to life at noon. A Cacklefest will take place at 2:00 p.m., with prizes for winning cars in the car show to be awarded around 2:30 p.m. Food will be available throughout the day.
