STIVERS TO DRIVE SECOND TINDLE PM

Last season's NHRA Pro Modified Rookie of the Year Tim Tindle announced current teammate Rick Stivers as driver of the second Tindle Enterprises GT 500E Mustang.  Two-time IHRA world Champion Mike Janis and Mike Janis Jr. will tune both cars in 2008.

"Rick Stivers brings years of racing experience to the team and will be a great asset to the program," said Tim Tindle. "I have gotten to know Stivers over that past few years and not only do I consider him a good friend, I consider him to be an intense driver.  Having him as a teammate is a big plus for the Tindle Racing Team."

Stivers claimed his first AMS Pro Mod event victory in Richmond last October. When he finished his Pro Modified tour of duty in November, the only thing that was on his mind was preparing for the 2008 season. That was then and this is now for the Lexington, Ky.-based racer and he's more than prepared for the NHRA Pro Modified Series. Armed with the Tindle Enterprises' "Dozer" GT 500E Mustang, the self-proclaimed Harley-Davidson aficionado is ready to prove his worth in the quickest doorslammer class on the planet.

"I am very happy about this opportunity," Stivers said. "It was a great season teaming with Tim and the team last year.  We are looking forward to this season even more.  It had been a long road getting to last year's win and we need to keep moving forward. I would like to thank Tindle Racing for welcoming our team to their operation."
