$375,000 UP FOR GRABS TO FUNNY CAR CHAOS RACERS IN 2023

The Funny Car Chaos Championship drag racing series has welcomed new marketing partners Performance Motorcoaches and Excel Drywall to its growing list of supporters who are fueling the continued expansion of the run whatcha’ brung funny car series.

These new partnerships along with continued primary support from Spell Paving Services, Wulff Pumps and Fat Tirez Apparel have made it possible for big changes in the per event and year end payout program for the 2023 season.

FCC first announced the news at their recently held awards banquet that it will be doubling the year end points fund payouts for the 2023 season from $10,000 to $20,000 and expanding those funds across not just the top five, but top ten points finishers. Additionally, at the recent awards banquet, the series unexpectedly back paid the number six through ten finishers from the 2022 season as a bonus.

The good news kept coming at the banquet when it was also announced that the guaranteed per event payouts have increased to $38,500 at all nine events on the 2023 schedule, for a grand total of over $375,000 up for grabs this race season.

Just over one month remains until the 2023 Funny Car Chaos Championship Tour kicks off at the historic Texas Motorplex as the biggest funny car race in the world, the 3rd Annual Funny Car Chaos Classic, will qualify 32 cars on March 16-18th in Texas. An exciting season of ground pounding, run whatcha’ brung funny car drag racing entertainment is on tap as Chaos racers from across the country prepare their floppers for battle.

There were 93 funny car teams that took a green light in Chaos competition in 2022 and hopes are to exceed the incredible 100-car mark this season, an amazing stat, and proof of the Chaos concept and health of grassroots drag racing.

Additional marketing partnerships with Laris Motorsports Insurance, Maxima Racing Oils, Rodak’s Custom Coffee, AlkyDigger, CP-Carrillo, DMP Awnings, Taylor Motorsports Products, Twisted Shifters, 360 Steel, Red Line Shirt Club, S&W Race Cars, Jake’s Speed Shop, Meyer Enterprises, Performax Trailers, Victory Driveline Components, Pro Things Apparel, Wizard’s Warehouse and Precision Reprographics are signed on for the new season as well.
