COTTRELL TAKES NEXT STEP IN HIS RACING CAREER

 

 

cottrellBobby Cottrell had one of the most successful California Hot Rod Reunions anyone could have asked for, taking his first win in Nostalgia A/Fuel as well as clinching his second consecutive championship in the 7.0 Pro category.

To begin 2015 Cottrell took the next step in his racing career by securing his license in NHRA Top Alcohol Dragster. With the help of Anthony Dicero and his ADR injected nitro dragster Cottrell made runs in the low 5.70 range at over 250 mph during a test session at Las Vegas.

“I can’t thank Anthony enough for this opportunity to work with his team and make passes in his dragster,” said Cottrell. “Anthony even had Spencer Massey out to coach me, which was a big help.”

Dicero and Cottrell sparked up a friendship at a nostalgia test session in Bakersfield which led to the opportunity for them to work together in the ADR dragster.

“I am hopeful that this will open up potential opportunities and show that I am very serious about working my way up on either the Nostalgia or NHRA side of things,” said Cottrell.
