Swedish Pro Modified racer Adam Flamholc wasinvolved in a violentaccident during Friday qualifying at the NHRA Midwest Nationals outside of St. Louis, Mo.

Flamholc wastransported by ambulance to St. Louis University Trauma Center for evaluation after his supercharged 1968 Camaro went out of control at thefinishlineandimpactedtheleftlaneretainingwall. Thecarthenmade a series of violentrolls before coming to a stop in theshutdownarea.

NHRA issued a statement on Friday eveningwhich said Flamholc was reportedly alertandresponding to commands from medical personnel.

The car then made a series of violent rolls before coming to a stop in the shutdown area. NHRA issued a statement on Friday evening which said Flamholc was reportedly alert and responding to commands from medical personnel.
