UNLETTERED TRAILER LEADS TO UNFOUNDED SPECULATION SAYS TEAM MANAGER

There's just not enough time in one day for Al-Anabi racing operations manager Chad Head.

In the midst of an off-season which has already included restructuring the team's race trailers in adhering to a California Dept. of Transportation regulation in addition to filling two driver openings, the one detail which failed to get done was lettering the trailer. Last evening the team confirmed Larry Dixon would not return to drive in 2012 and series champion Del Worsham announced his retirement last month.

The Alan Johnson-managed Al-Anabi team, which is conducting a private test this morning at Palm Beach International Raceway, failed to get the trailers lettered. A photo was leaked yesterday with the yet unlettered trailers. Immediately speculation began to surface that Al-Anabi would not return for next season as the team's sponsor.

Head said this is totally false.

"I just ran out of time," Head admitted. "Since we were participating in a private test, we figured it would be okay to bring the trailers out here as they were. Someone is looking for a story here, when there is no story. We simply ran out of time to letter the trailers. It will be done when we get home."

Head declined to discuss any details of the private test other than they are testing.
