John Kozak believes the value in a great sand blasting job is the ability to bring forth a worthwhile project from something discarded as rusted junk.
Kozak, a former Home Depot assistant manager turned BMW employee and later professional sandblaster, joined the Project White Wagon team early last summer with the intention of proving a junkyard 1964 Chevy II wagon could not only make a quality race car but also a record-holding Super Stocker.
Kozak sandblasted some of the initial parts of the car only to be blasted with bad news of his own.
