The Inaugural ADRL Texas Drags is fast approaching. This doubleheader weekend will certainly provide lots of action and Pete Berner hopes that part of that action will be to bring his efforts in Extreme Pro Stock to fruition.

The Inaugural ADRL Texas Drags is fast approaching. This doubleheader weekend will certainly provide lots of action and Pete Berner hopes that part of that action will be to bring his efforts in Extreme Pro Stock to fruition.

Berner has certainly seen much success in his Pro Stock machines over the years. With national titles in IHRA, shootout titles and Championship titles all to his credit, there’s not much he hasn’t done in the realm of Mountain Motors. But one thing has yet eluded him: an ADRL Minute Man. Berner hopes to change that fact this weekend.

“We’ve been so close to getting our first win at the ADRL,” told Berner. “We know that this Summit team has what it takes. We’ve got the power to get on top of the pack and stay there. We’ve had a lot of learning curves as we continually develop and further our engine program, but I feel really good about not only where we’re going but where we are now. We have a great handle on hot weather tune ups so Houston in late July should be right up our alley. Hopefully we can capitalize on excelling in difficult conditions. With a little luck our way and if I continue to do my job, I think we’ll be in good shape. It would certainly be awesome to double up.”
