Gearstar was founded in 2002 by Farah to provide racers and hot rodders with a high-performance transmission that previously wasn't available to them, and provides them with a transmission that can match their power plant. His company is the first to manufacture high-performance automatic transmissions to the specifications of a particular engine, horsepower and torque output, rear gear ratio and the application which it is to serve. Each Gearstar transmission is built to the customer’s exact specifications from start to finish by one of the industry's top expert technicians. The company uses only the best U.S. made performance parts.

The Super Chevy Show is a national touring series that provides a car show with drag racing in a family-type atmosphere. The series visits 10 of the top racing venues in the country, including making stops near Las Vegas, Nev., Dallas, Denver, Colo. and Houston. The series will hold its fourth event of the season when it visits Summit Racing Equipment Motorsports Park in Norwalk, Ohio from Friday, June 11-Sunday, June 13. The series will then complete its only back-to-back events of the season when it visits Heartland Park Topeka in Kansas from Friday, June 18-Sunday, June 20.
