DOTE RACING PLANS RETURN AT E'TOWN

Dote Racing, who last competed at the Four Wide Nationals, will return to action next weekend at the NHRA Super Nationals at Englishtown.

"It feels like we have been away from the sport for a year even though it has only been three months," said team owner said Mike Dote. "We would like to compete at all of them but I understand we have to take this new venture in steps.  I can't imagine how the guy's feel.  They work everyday on getting our program more prepared for our eventual full time competition, but I know working on it everyday and skipping races is difficult"

The team plans to compete at both Englishtown, NJ and Norwalk, OH.  They captured their first round win on their first attempt at the 41st running of the GatorNationals, and hope to top that accomplishment in the month of June.

Team driver Doug Foley, owner of Doug Foley's Drag Racing School, is kicking off a contest starting at Englishtown where NHRA fans can go to www.dougfoley.com and select a winner in each of the professional categories, giving them a chance to win the opportunity to drive a dragster at one of his schools.  This contest will go on for each race for the remainder of the year.
