Bristol Dragway will give a cruise for two to one lucky winner. And there will be no losers, as everyone else will see the region’s fastest street-legal machines shake off the winter blues and burn up the strip in the season opener presented by One 12 Downtown.

Competition for Bristol Dragway’s new announcer also will heat up as the four finalists announce the day’s action. After the event, Dragway officials will determine who will become the new Street Fights announcer. The crowd reaction’s to the four candidates will help determine the winner.

Bristol’s popular Fas Mart Street Fights series celebrates its 10th season in 2010. From grocery getters to import tuners and American muscle, the Fas Mart Street Fights series continues to prove it has something for everyone.

This season, the schedule is comprised of 17 Street Fights events, including five Saturday races. The remaining events take place on Thursday evenings. Once again, Fas Mart Street Fights kicks off the Bristol Dragway schedule with its season opener on Saturday, March 27.

The Street Fights series provides anyone with a street-legal vehicle the chance to race on Thunder Valley’s famous drag strip in a controlled environment with people eager to assist them as they learn the sport.
