BERNER UNVEILS NEW LOOK EXTREME PRO STOCKER

Pete Berner’s Pontiac GXP has never looked better as it now flies the familiar red, white and blue of Summit Racing Equipment in a unique and eye-catching design by Greg Ozubko. With its new look, the GXP is sure to cause a stir with onlookers as well as with opponents.

Painted by SD Enterprises, the car, which features lightening strikes from the top and crushed pavement along the bottom, reflects the attitude of Berner himself, who hopes to create some excitement of his own during the 2010 ADRL and MMPSA series.

“We couldn’t be more thrilled to fly Summit colors,” told Berner, “and we are certainly looking forward to debuting our new look. Greg [Ozubko] did a fantastic job with the design and really built exactly what we’re looking for. We wanted to be out of the box and have a design that most wouldn’t expect on a Pro Stock car. Along with the MMPSA, we’ve chosen to run the entire ADRL schedule this year and the theme of ‘extreme’ runs rampant over there. We couldn’t let our new look disappoint any of our ADRL fans and I feel quite confident that this Summit GXP will impress, both on and off the track.”

Berner is planning to put the new design on the track soon in testing, but it won’t be revealed in front of fans until February 26-28 at the Summit AutoRama in Detroit, Mich.
