Rick Snavely, Los Angeles, took down Ron Weems, foreground, in the Outlaw 10.5 final round with a blistering 6.637 second, 216.17 miles per hour. Snavely needed every ounce of power from his car after Weems beat him off the line .035 to .042.

"Great way to start the year," said Snavely, who will concentrate his drag racing efforts in the PSCA in 2010. Snavely set both end of the national record for Outlaw 10.5 in PSCA on Saturday.
