Virginia Motorsports Park, proud home of several NHRA performance records, will host the inaugural World Cup of Drag Racing on August 20th and 21st, 2010.  The Friday – Saturday show will feature Door Slammers from all over the globe competing for major purse money in Pro Stock, Pro Mod Blower, Pro Mod Nitrous, 10.5 Outlaw, and Outlaw Drag Radial classes.

Friday night will consist of a special qualifying session in addition to special grudge races with eliminations set for Saturday.

NHRA Pro Stock and Nitro teams will be permitted to test for free on Thursday and Friday by calling VMP and making arrangements with a track official at (804) 862-3174.
