TOMMY DUPREE NAMED DIRECTOR OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT FOR MMPSA

Tommy Dupree, a well-known face to many for his work in the drag racing industry, recently signed on to become the Director of Business Development for the Mountain Motor Pro Stock Association.  Dupree left his position with the IHRA to fire up the newly founded MMPSA. He will also be working with Pete Berner’s Performance Mechanical Contracting business.

Dupree is excited about this new endeavor and feels the MMPSA has a lot to offer. “I am very excited to be a part of this new group. These are great bunch of guys and I am very happy to dedicate my time and experience to help out. We have come a long way very quickly and we have all the tools we need to be successful.”

Dupree also added, “I am very thankful to Pete for thinking of me to be a part of this organization and his personal business. His time is better spent concentrating on his business and his racing. I am thrilled the guys chose me to manage this new organization for them.”

Berner is equally excited about the opportunities that lie ahead and feels that Dupree is the right man for the job. “I’ve gotten to know Tommy really well over the past several years, and I’ve seen what he’s capable of. He knows how to get the job done, and I truly feel he’s the best man for this position. He’s already been hard at work in both my contracting business and the MMPSA. We have hit the ground running and Tommy has jumped right into the mix, even picking up the pace. We received a good bit of support regarding the formation of the MMPSA right from the start, but Tommy has already begun expanding our support and endeavors. We’re very excited about this first year and for the many years to follow.”
