PRO NITROUS CHAMPION HEADED TO THE EXTREME?

Multiple sources have confirmed with Attitude's CompetitionPlus.com that reigning ADRL Pro Nitrous champion Khalid Al Balooshi will make the switch from a nitrous-injected combination over to a supercharged engine for 2010. We are told that he will be tuned by veteran tuner Howard Moon, who will continue to turn the wrenches for Von Smith.

Balooshi will race the 1968 Camaro driven last year by Joe Baker and originally built for Mike Ashley. He is currently entered for the NHRA Gatornationals in Gainesville, Fla.

As for the current Al-Anabi Racing nitrous fraternity, Mike Castellana, Shannon Jenkins and Burton Auxier will remain with their Reher-Morrison, nitrous combination and have no intentions of changing over. Auxier is the defending NHRA GSA Pro Modified champion.
