If you thought Wednesday at PBIR was quick, it's likely to be branded a preview of what's to come today.

In his first run on Thursday, defending NHRA Top Fuel champion Tony Schumacher fired off a 3.763 elapsed time but the real barn-burner was his 323.58 mile per hour blast, the quickest speed in the history of 1,000-foot drag racing.

The track temperature is expected to hover at 90-degrees today and that should provide even quicker runs from all parties involved.
