2010 LAS VEGAS SUPREME SPORTSMAN DRAGS COMES TO LVMS

All purses are based on a minimum of 64 cars entered in each class. Purse will be pro-rated for each car under the 64-cars-per-class entry.

Super Comp and Super Gas will be an all-run field. Random pairs for first round.

Stock/Super Stock Combo will be a maximum 128 car field.  Laddered for first round based on qualifying on current NHRA index.

Drivers may enter multiple classes with the same car.

Two or three qualifying sessions will be contested on Friday to set the field for Saturday eliminations.

Three Run-for-the-Money events will be held on Saturday as a last-chance for drivers to win cash and shakedown their cars prior to eliminations.  The contested categories will be Electronics Pro Tree, Electronics Full-Tree and Non-Electronics Full-Tree.  Cost is $20 per car to enter.

All entries will be accepted at the gate.  No pre-entry for this event.

In the event that eliminations cannot be completed by 7 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 6, the race will conclude on the morning of Sunday, Feb. 7.


Wednesday, Feb. 3
Noon – Credential sales and pit parking for NHRA Pro Stock and Supreme Sportsman teams.
5 p.m. – Credential sales and pit parking concludes.

Thursday, Feb. 4 – Pro Stock and Sportsman Test 'n' Tune
9 a.m. – Credential sales and pit parking.
9:30 a.m. – Tech inspection begins in staging lanes.
10 a.m. – First Pro Stock test run.

10:30 a.m.
Sportsman Test 'n' Tune ($75 for 3-run punch card): Stock/Super Stock Combo, Super Comp, Super Pro Bracket, Super Gas, Pro Bracket, Top Sportsman, Top Dragster.

Noon – Second Pro Stock test run.
1:30 p.m. – Third Pro Stock test run.
3 p.m. – Fourth Pro Stock test run.
4 p.m. – Fifth Pro Stock test run.
4:30 p.m. – Sportsman testing clean-up “Happy Hour.”
5:30 p.m. – Track closed.

Friday, Feb. 5 – Pro Stock Showdown qualifying and Supreme Sportsman qualifying
7 a.m. – Credential sales and pit parking.

8 a.m.
Stock/Super Stock Combo qualifying.
First Super Comp time trial.
Super Pro Bracket time trial.
Super Gas time trial.
Pro Bracket time trial.
Top Sportsman qualifying.
Top Dragster qualifying.

10 a.m.
First Pro Stock qualifying session. Continue time trial/qualifying rotations for Supreme Sportsman classes.
 
Noon – Second Pro Stock qualifying session.
2 p.m. – Third Pro Stock qualifying session.
4 p.m. – Final Pro Stock qualifying session. Conclude Qualifying for Supreme Sportsman Series
5:30 p.m. – Track closed.

Saturday, Feb. 6 – Pro Stock Showdown and Supreme Sportsman eliminations
7 a.m. – Credential sales and pit parking.
8 a.m. – .5 Full Tree Run-for-the-Money (and more).
Open to all Non-Electronic .5 Full Tree.
.4 Pro Tree Run-for-the-Money (and more).
Open to all cars running .4 Pro Tree.
.5 Full Tree Electronics Run-for-the-Money – open to all Electronics .5 Full Tree.

10 a.m. – First round of Pro Stock Showdown (16 cars), Stock/Super Stock Combo, Super Comp, Super Pro Bracket, Super Gas.

2 p.m. – Second round of Pro Stock Showdown (8 cars).
First round of Pro Bracket, Top Sportsman, Top Dragster, continue Sportsman eliminations.

2 p.m. – Third round of Pro Stock Showdown (4 cars).
4 p.m. – Pro Stock Showdown finals.
5:45 p.m. – All Supreme Sportsman finals.

Entry Fees:    
Supreme Sportsman (Super Comp, Super Gas, Stock/Super Stock Combo, Top Sportsman, Top Dragster): $300 per entry (includes driver wristband).

Super Pro Bracket: $100 car and driver.
Pro Bracket: $60 car and driver.
Weekend restricted-area pass (Thursday-Sunday): $60.
Thursday Test ‘n’ Tune (3-run punch card): $75.

Purse:
Super Comp, Super Gas, Stock/Super Stock Combo, Top Sportsman, Top Dragster payout based on 64 cars entered. Purse will be pro-rated if less than 64 cars in class. $300 entry.

Winner – $12,000.
Runner-up – $4,000.
Semi-finalist – $1,000.
Quarters – $300.

Super Pro (7.00 and slower / .5 Full Tree / Compulink Cross-Talk)
Payout based on 64 cars entered. Purse will be pro-rated if less than 64 cars in class. $100 entry. Time permitting, buybacks may be held for brackets.

Winner – $2,500.
Runner-up – $1,250.
Semi-finalist – $500.
Quarter-finalist: $100.

Pro Bracket (7.00 and slower / .5 Full Tree / No-Electronics)
Payout based on 64 cars entered. Purse will be pro-rated if less than 64 cars in class. $60 entry. Time permitting, buybacks may be held for brackets.

Winner – $1,500.
Runner-Up – $750.
Semi-finalist – $300.
Quarter-finalist – $60.

Please note: NHRA and LVMS Strip gold cards will not be accepted at this event.
