The Santa Rosa, Fla.-based driver has exemplified his natural driving in the fast doorslammers ranks but last weekend during the Emerald Coast Dragway Thanksgiving Wally Nationals in Holt, Fla., Tindle surprised himself.

Tindle reeled off the perfect run with a dead-on elapsed time (4.890 on 4.89 dial in) and coupled it with a perfect (.000) reaction.

“I couldn’t believe it,” said Tindle.  “My car had been running deadly (consistent) all day long, but I never thought I would make a perfect run.  Seeing the time slip was almost a shocking feeling.  I can’t ask for a better car. This Mullis is always dialed in and is dead on the money nearly every pass.  I definitely plan to bracket race more next year.”

Tindle advanced to the quarter-finals, but then “broke-out” after running .004 quicker than his dialed elapsed time.
