Schumacher, touched by their courage and devotion to duty following a horrific moment in American history, could think of no better way to honor those who never waver in their support of his efforts.

Next Friday, December 11, the seven-time Top Fuel champion, along with his dad Don Schumacher and the entire Army team will make the presentation, honoring the 13 soldiers who were killed. and 30 who were wounded during a murderous rampage.

“I don’t think there’s any real question of where it belongs,” Schumacher said, during a press conference last month. “To the people, friends and families of those on that base, it will trickle down through the whole Army. When something like that happens we all bond together.”
