European Top Fuel racer Andy Carter will team with drag racing's Big Daddy Don Garlits next season on a one-race deal.

Carter will run backing from Don Garlits anbd the Don Garlits Drag Racing Museum at the NHRA Gatornationals in Gainesville, Fla., March 11 - 14, 2009.

Carter will run backing from Don Garlits and the Don Garlits Drag Racing Museum at the NHRA Gatornationals in Gainesville, Fla., March 11 - 14, 2009.

" I'm delighted to be representing Don Garlits and his Museum of Drag Racing at the Gatornationals," said Carter, who raced in Pomona earlier this year. "It will be a real honor to carry his name on the car and we will be doing all we can to emulate some of his success on the track.

"We will have the Top Fuel Dragster that I will be driving at the Gatornationals at Don's museum the weekend before the race, so come along and get up close and say hello."
