Fred Crespi, oddsmaker for the sports books at The Palms Resort & Casino and the South Point Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas predicts Tony Schumacher, Robert Hight and Mike Edwards will win final-round eliminations on Sunday at the NHRA Las Vegas Nationals at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

Defending Top Fuel Dragster champion Schumacher (5/2) is no stranger to The Strip at LVMS’ NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Series victory circle celebrations. Edwards (6/5) has all but clinched the Pro Stock crown and probably will do so officially in Las Vegas. And Hight (3/1) holds a slim points lead over teammate Ashley Force Hood.

But don’t count out Top Fuel’s Larry Dixon, a past Las Vegas winner at 3/1 and Tony Pedregon, who is 4/1 in the Funny Car category. And perennial Pro Stock behemoth Greg Anderson is lurking at an enticing 3/1.

Place your bets, drag racing fans: Fred says these odds will be posted in the aforementioned casinos bright and early Wednesday morning.
