This weekend will mark the first time the Lagana Brothers, Bobby and Dominick, have ever raced Top Fuel dragsters against each

another on a drag strip. The historic sibling battle will transpire tomorrow at New England Dragway in Epping, New Hampshire.

“This will be the ultimate dream come true, not only will Lagana Racing be fielding two cars for a match race at New England Dragway, but I will be racing against my brother,” said Bobby Lagana Jr., currently ranked third in IHRA Top Fuel. “I could not have ever dreamed this day would ever happen, There is just so many facets of this race that will be exciting and record breaking.  I really want to thank Joe Lombardo and New England Dragway for putting on this race, it is really neat to see them go back on history and put on the races they used to for the fans.”

Dominick Lagana finds himself in an unusual position for the third time this year. 

“This will be my third race this year, Bristol and Salt Lake were tons of fun, and I was lucky enough to feel very comfortable driving the car,” added Dominick. “This race will for sure be the highlight of my short driving career, to race with brother has been awesome, but to actually line up against him and show that we have come this far as a team is amazing.  I can’t wait to put on an awesome show for the fans, then maybe we can come back in Sept. and win the IHRA race here for the third time.”
