ANTRON FEATURED ON COVER OF CMI

Antron Brown, who leads the NHRA Top Fuel standings, is featured on the cover of the current issue of Christian Motorsports largestissueyetvirtualmag.jpgIllustrated. Brown's DirecTV/Matco Tools dragster dons the cover of the Second Quarter 2009 issue of CMI that will be available beginning at the 30th annual Mopar Mile-High Nationals, July 10-12, at Bandimere Speedway.

The cover article, written by Doug Johnson, is titled: Antron Brown, Taking it from 300 HP to 8,000 HP, Being the Best You Can Be. Brown, a 20-time NHRA winner, regularly attends the Sunday morning Racer's For Christ (RFC) Chapel Service hosted by RFC Chaplain Larry Smiley. Brown, a 20-time NHRA winner, enters the 13th race on the 2009 NHRA schedule with a 53-point lead over two-time champion Larry Dixon. The Matco Tools flagship driver has two wins in five final round appearances this season, along with earning four No. 1 qualifying awards. Brown also clocked three fastest runs of the season, including his 319.75 mph blast at Bristol, Tenn. in May.
