COUGHLIN'S COBALT IN COLUMBUS PARADE

 The JEGS.com Chevrolet Cobalt that Jeg Coughlin Jr. drove to the last two world championships in the Full Throttle Drag Racing Series will be the centerpiece of the American Electric Power Independence Day Parade, which begins at 6 p.m., Friday, July 3, and runs through downtown Columbus, Ohio.

 The JEGS.com Chevrolet Cobalt that Jeg Coughlin Jr. drove to the last two world championships in the Full Throttle Drag Racing Series will be the centerpiece of the American Electric Power Independence Day Parade, which begins at 6 p.m., Friday, July 3, and runs through downtown Columbus, Ohio.

The AEP Parade is part of the 29th annual Red, White & BOOM! celebration, a day-long celebration that culminates at 10 p.m. with a Fireworks Spectacular along the Columbus Riverfront. City officials are expecting more than 155,000 people at this year's Red, White & BOOM!

Coughlin's instantly recognizable, yellow-and-black race car will be displayed on a special flatbed stage that will be towed behind a Chevrolet Silverado 3500HD Dually, giving parade-goers a great view of the 1,350-horsepower machine.

The parade will be broadcast live in high definition on NBC4 with a simulcast on WNCI 97.9 FM.
