Trevor Ashline, CEO of Safety Solutions, recently issued the following statement regarding statements about the company's product line.

""No other head restraint device available today meets or exceeds the level of protection we offer our customers," stated Ashline. "Mike Skinner's and John Force's accidents are perfect examples of how well my Hybrid series works. Every other SFI certified product on the market, loses its effectiveness in a 30 degree right frontal impact in the SFI 38.1 standard. Having worked on the Earnhardt investigation, I have designed my products to work best in those angles, the most common and dangerous impact angles. With my Hybrid series, in every single certification I've had, the devices have scored excellent 0 degree frontal scores, and even better in the 30 degree frontal tests. My competition cannot claim this.

"Recently, misleading information has been circulated regarding the "life span" of Safety Solutions' SFI Certified head restraints. That misinformation is, in part, due to a recent oversight and/or updating error on their instruction manuals. That error has now been corrected. "To clarify, our strap harnesses, The Hutchens Device and D-Cel Harness, do have a 3 year life on them, however, they are not SFI 38.1 certified. None of our SFI 38.1 devices have a 3 year life on them. We follow the SFI 38.1 protocol which does not dictate a life span to devices that have been certified.  The SFI 38.1 certification deals only with design and performance criteria.

"The information released by our competitor, to their dealers, is misleading and was used as a marketing ploy. Yoke style devices are old technology, one direction wonders,"' stated Ashline.  "Our products are common sense technology that applies a 'works with you, not against you concept' while out performing in every direction. We are engineering tomorrow's technology, today."
