With the first event in the books, the Joe's Transmission TNT Hot Rod Super Series heads to Cayuga Dragway at Toronto passero10042008tmp-2400px.jpgMotorsports Park (TMP) this weekend May 16-17 for the Victoria Day Weekend Challenge.  The second and third stops on the 2009 schedule, this double-header weekend presented by Rosehill Auction House, marks the first time the TNT Super Series will contest two complete points events during a long weekend show.

Joe Passero of Rosehill Auction House has been a participant in the TNT Super Series since it began back in late 2006. "We're pleased to be a returning sponsor and to continue our support of the TNT series," said Joe.  "This is a neat deal they put on and we always have a good time at the events."  Joe runs a 2008 Dodge Stratus and will likely do double duty this weekend in both TNT Hot Rod and the Quick 32 Sportsman Series.

There will be two complete TNT events - one on Saturday and another on Sunday - with two rounds of qualifying each day expected to start at 11am with eliminations at 1pm.  "We had 23 cars at last Friday's season opener so we're expecting a solid car count this weekend," said Ted Barnes, TNT Series Director.  "The big show at TMP this long holiday weekend should draw even more racers and their families."

Headlining the weekend event will be the PMRA Pro Modifieds, joined by the Quick 32 Sportsman Series and the Can-Am Stock/Super Stock Series.  "Having all these local series together for a single event makes for a terrific show for the fans," added Ted.   Also featured this weekend will be Jet Funny Cars, Harley Davidson Destroyers, and bracket classes.
