Force is as classiest an act as there is in the NHRA. You can bet your boots, if he believes in it, it will happen. And, the drag racing world will be a safer, happier place for everyone. Thanks John and Laurie. - Roy Corkil, Meridian, Idaho

There is not a single doubt in my mind that Force has been appointed by a "Higher" FORCE (no funny intended.) This is not about me, but I was not hit in the head real hard and died a couple of times 12 years ago tomorrow (Sept. 05, 1995) for no reason or just to suffer. God sends messages in different ways and gives us jobs to do that we do not understand at the time. I am with John when he says he has a job to do....I am happy to say that I am proud to have him aboard the "FAITH" train. God gives us jobs to do and a way to do them! Instead of “JOHN FORCE did this, JOHN FORCE did that,” why wasn’t your article written “this was done, that was done” and let the readers conclude and HONOR those who did it?  I’m sorry to say your article came across to me as classless John Force idolatry and it suspiciously attempted to  redirect the spotlight.  Poor Eric -- a victim again.

John is "spot on" as the English would say. I am not going to try and tell you that I have seen God, but I am sure He is real. I could give you a dozen instances where He is the only answer to the question of how things turned out as they did.

I am probably one up on 99% of the population, for this one occurrence. I was bitten by a brown recluse spider, on Christmas day 1992. I had an allergic reaction and was declared clinically dead upon arrival at Yuma Hospital. I was there the whole time, and I watched as the doctor was about to give up trying, because the "paddles" weren't doing the trick. I later identified the nurse who asked him to try one more time, which consequently ended my existence in that dimension, or whatever you want to call it.

I was there, I could see and hear every one in that room, I knew what was happening, and I had NOT ONE question. I knew there were others there also. But those people trying to revive that body on the table, didn't see me. They didn't feel me, or hear me. But they sure listened to me when I came to in recovery, and described the scene in the OR, to the letter.

Everyone has a "gut instinct" Some folk have a clear concise word on their heart. That is never for evil. I won't go into it here, but my dad always said that I did burnouts, drank booze, and chased women because I was looking for excitement. He told me that to believe in God, and to follow His guidelines in the Bible, was to live "supernaturally" I have been living that way for just a short time, I am still learning. And I am not equipped to even dream up the events that have been happening, because I am following and not trying to lead.  And I am learning that the things you can't see, are more profound, have deeper relevance, and feed your spirit.

You just have to make quiet time, so you can hear what He says to you.

I am not trying to sell you anything, and I am sure not better than anyone else.

I am simply stating fact, from my history.

And there is enough of it to fill a book or two.

I must applaud you heartily, for providing media that strives to get to the heart of the matter, and for having the guts to take a stand, for what’s real. Even if it isn't as popular, as it once was.
