FEEDBACK ARTICLE - BRISTOL DRAGWAY'S JEFF BYRD SPEAKS
I am very sad that everyone seems to be apologizing to the fans at Bristol for the race being rescheduled. What about the 6 weeks of grueling schedule for the race teams who drive the open road, wash and shine equipment, set up, work on the cars and race,service, tear down, and head down the road for the next destination. We seem to be concerned about safety on the track but what about off the track. Is it safe? Talk to the guys after a 3 race back to back and they will tell you how tiring it was. I only hope and pray for everyone's safety after 6 back to backs. We hope Mother Nature doesn't hand us any more surprises on top of this one!!
